2025 AM Volume 37, Issue 3 _ The Campus Ampang

We were honoured to be featured in Architecture Malaysia (AM) issue 37.3 as the Architects and Interior Designers for The Campus Ampang, a landmark project redefining Malaysia’s retail scene through adaptive reuse.

In the article, “The Campus Ampang: A New Chapter in Adaptive Reuse and Community-Centric Design”, our Director of HL Architecture, Martin Haeger MBE, shares our role in this collaborative project working on a site steeped in history, from a school to a new social hub, embracing Malaysia’s climate responsively, and using adaptive reuse as a model for sustainability.

The Campus Ampang has evolved into a true community, it is more than just retail, it is a place for people, embracing health, learning, arts, sports and entertainment and with a clear focus on supporting Malaysian entrepreneurs
