We are pleased to share that HL Architecture Sdn Bhd was awarded Bronze in the HOSPITALITY Concept Design category for the Tunas Utama Hotel engaged by Messrs UDA Holdings Berhad

This project represents a transformation, inspired by the rich history of Kuala Lumpur’s Petaling Street, reflecting the evolving cultural tapestry of this iconic area, where heritage and modernity beautifully intertwine. Chinatown continues to re-emerge as a beacon of authenticity within the city’s vibrant core.

Our client envisioned repurposing an eight-story office building into a boutique hotel. With experiential hospitality in high demand, our team eagerly embarked on the challenge, infusing the space with an Indo-Chinese charm and elements of Peranakan heritage.
